Last Home Tour Ever
I participated in a home and architectural tour in conjunction with the Steampunk Festival in Hannibal on Monday. This is our second tour since finishing the kitchen. It is not really the last ever but definitely the last for a long while. My husband generally wants to kill me in the lead up to these things.
It was a good tour, lot's of fun people, some repeat tourists, and two ladies that knew my mother's house from a tour 3 years ago. They gushed endlessly about it and asked that I please appeal to her to do another tour. I did, she's considering it. She was very flattered.
This old house is looking good, if I do say so myself! I even busted out the fall decor. Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere! And we get to enjoy them for two whole months, with some stuff hanging around through Thanksgiving. My husband was having a glass of milk last night when he examined the vintage libby water glass in his hand, "Are these just for fall?" He asked nonchalantly. I laughed and laughed. I mean yeah, they are but it seems awfully silly hearing someone say it.
For you, a mini tour below. I figured I had better snap a few pictures while it looks as if no one lives here.
