A Last Minute Gift List
Ya'll know I haven't bought a single Christmas gift for the adults in my life? I've got some ideas but nothing finite. However this little book roundup might cover about 50% of my bases with even a little extra achieving thrown in for good measure.
Books are the best presents in my personal opinion. Coffee table books even better! They are a decor piece, they speak to the individuals personality and they are lovely.
1. Humans of New York by Brandon Stanton
I feel like everyone should just buy this and wrap it, to have on hand, for when that rando at the office hands you an unexpected gift. This will please and delight anyone. It's of the now and says ''I think you care about humans" to the giftee. I am buying it for a specific girlfriend, she really does care about humans.
2. all in good taste By Kate Spade
It's pink, it's Kate Spade cuteness. I'm giving it to someone!
3. The Finer Things: Timeless Furniture, Textiles and Details by Christine Lemieux
Treat yo'self! I am! I'm buying two, one for me, one for mom. She is timeless and cares about this sort of thing.
4. The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss by Theodor Geisel
For my girlfriend that is an intellectual, an artist, and an expectant mother. I saw this and I thought "YES."
5. Paris in Color
If you and your sister went to Paris once, just the two of you, you should buy this for her. If you had your portraits drawn outside the Pompidou when you were 20 and 18, respectively, and they were hilariously awful, this might mean something to her. Fingers crossed.
6. Stoner Coffee Table Book by Steve Mockus
I like to save the best for last.
My favorite thing about all of these bomb coffee table books is they can be purchased on Amazon, with prime, so go ahead wait till the 22nd. I will.
